I received an early Christmas gift this year. This is not something that I can call my own but it is truly the best present I have received in a very long while. My very dear friend who lives an ocean away received the gift of a daughter. This is the answer to many years of faithful prayer. This is a reminder that God hears those prayers and answers them in His own perfect timing. Thanks to the courage of a young woman my dear friend and her husband have a daughter to call their own. I'm overcome with joy for them and my heart is filled with praise.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
